Anyone have a circumcision redo?

So, we were only like 70% wanting to get our LO circumcised to being with and I cried before the procedure (don't flame me, I don't think it's a great tradition and pretty much regret it) so OF COURSE we have a complication. Well, apparently I wasn't pulling his little weewee down enough and so it started to heal wrong (I don't understand that anatomy too well, but I guess the tip of his penis wasn't popping out enough of the glans). Our pediatrician referred us to pediatric surgery but they couldn't fit us in right away and now his weewee looks totally healed (for the worse, you can barely see the tip of his penis!!!) We have a consultation with surgery tomorrow...

 

Anyone else go through this? Is the follow up procedure worse than the first one?

DS1 had to have a circumcision revision at one year. He was very chubby so the fat pad pushed the skin back over the head. It readhesed. The revision was worse. He had to be put under with general anesthesia and had stitches around the head. Healing was not as terrible as I feared though and all is well now. Good luck!
