Yeah, sometimes. When I see guys out in their big a$$ Hummers I sometimes wonder if they're trying to compensate for a really small certain piece of anatomy. :-)
I think Hummers are stupid. Those are really the only cars I judge.
I drove a lot of crappy cars before having the one I have now. I can honestly say that I don't judge what someone drives, unless of course it's a hummer. LOL

I don't think car = status in any way. In fact, it AGGREVATES the piss out of me when people constantly throw around the type of car they drive, because then it's *so* obvious that they're making it a status thing.
In that case, I think every car is created equal.
I *do* judge a little when people buy foreign cars. My entire family worked for GM (or has since retired) and to me, and in MI in general, it's sort of like a slap in the face to buy foreign vehicles. Just a big no-no here.
This is not so much judgmental (Ok, maybe), but sort of funny. There is a guy in my town that has a smart car. He's a very large man (both height and width) and he just looks so silly all crammed into it!
Ditto GHM. I hate people driving a larger vehicle than necessary. We have a beetle as our only family car and plan on keeping it until we are pg with #3 since there isn't a middle seatbelt. Otherwise we'd never trade it in!
I agree with pp. When I was a teacher in one of the poorest districts in MA it made me cringe when kid would get dropped off at school without winter coats and hats on and their parents were driving Escalades, Navigators, Lexus', etc. These kids also got free lunch and breakfast everyday. Just makes me sick!
Not really. I do not assume that if someone has a car like a BMW, Mercedes etc. that they can actually afford it. As proven by the current climate of the economy. And in turn if someone has an older car I think maye they are good about not spending money they don't have.

I can honestly tell you I don't notice vehicles at all. DH notices and will make comments all the time (mostly on cars he likes), and usually I didn't even see the car to make a comment.

Re: s/o Do you judge people on their vehicles?
I don't judge on cost or anything like that but I do judge the following -
1. bumper stickers - TACKY!
2. supped up Neon, still a Neon dude
3. your stereo system costs more than your car
4. loud muffler - LAME

You take my ovaries, I take your yarns.

I also judge on the Hummer thing.
