How much spit up is normal?

My little guy has been spitting up more lately, not a ton...certainly not everything he's eating but when he burps there's usually at least some spit up. Is that normal?

    My ped said spitting up is normal. She said it can be a sign of reflux, but it's not a concern unless they appear to be in pain too.
