"Blue Ivy" tradmarked?

Beyonce and Jay-Z filed to trademark the name of their baby girl. This after two applications had already been filed to trademark the same name and those were denied. All I know is that they wouldn't have to worry about me trying to use that name for anything.

I'm not surprised, I'm sure idiots were already planning on naming their companies Blue Ivy Productions, Blue Ivy Baby, etc.  You can still use it for your child though.

Yeah, I figured that's what the other two applications were for. I'm having a boy and if I were having a girl, her name would've been Samantha Jean (family name). Blue Ivy is a bit too out of the ordinary for my taste.

So what happens to that company that already had the name Blue Ivy?  Can they sue the Carters for copyright infringement?
