F/U to Career Advice

I ended up going for the Bailiff position. I stressed my concerns with the Major about how I was scared of retaliation from a current supervisor. He said he would tell the high-ups it was his idea. Which, is actually the truth. I was talking to him about being on Reserves, and he offered me the Bailiff position. So, I am hoping that may help with any issues. Who knows? I am off today and currently on nights, so I don't see her much.

He told me to give him a few days and he would get back to me. I am honestly hoping to hear something by the weekend, but realistically, I think it's going to be Monday. Thanks for all of you inputs. I am keeping my fingers crossed, but I am scared to getting too excited about it. The extra money would really help us right now. We are able to cover our bills, but some months we call it pretty close. So having the extra money would just be a weight off of our shoulders. Not to mention, having the evenings and weekends off with DH and DS would be nice.
