A silly TTC question

This is a silly question, but I'm going to ask it anyway. Stick out tongue

If you "pulled the goalie" before getting your first post-partum AF, do you consider that TTC? Or would you only count months since your first AF?

Re: A silly TTC question

  • In my opinion, if you pull the goalie, you are TTC. Regardless if you have AF or not.

Theoretically, you could pull the goalie and ovlulate and get KU and never have a PP AF.

Also, on a side note, I consider "pull and pray" to be TTC. My mama taught me that if you're not using an approved form of birth control, you are asking to be pregnant. (She got pregnant at 19, so she was very adament to always drill approriate BC into our heads).

I think all the KU girls on the board who were using this method are good examples of this theory, lol.

  • Thanks for the input ladies. I was worried I might be seriously flamed for saying we've been "trying" since June even though I just got my first AF this month.

  • Nah - you can't control when you ovulate - you are trying even when your body isn't cooperating! :)

  • I was kind of hoping to get pregnant before my first AF and we weren't using protection.  So I would say that you are technically TTC if you're not using any protection at all.
