Cervical Ultrasound? anyone know (Not board related)

Question.  I had a LEEP procedure done in November..to make a long story short.  I'm pregnant and when I went for my appointment last week the doctor told me that she didn't want to do the papsmear right away in fear of my cervix not being completely healed yada yada..she did do her internal and said that things seems to be healing extremely well but wanted me to go for a cervical ultrasound (which is scheduled for tomorrow morning).   My question is...has anyone ever had this?  What does it entail and do you think I'll be able to see the baby again while they do this?   TYIA.

Thanks, that's what i figured it would entail, but didn't want to set myself up for something and it be totalyl different.  When they did it, were you able to see the baby or did they not look far enough in.  I just like getting sneak peaks whenever i can. haha

I had a LEEP several years ago and had several cervical u/s during my pregnancy with DD. I got to see the baby every time. My first cervical u/s was when I was around 14 weeks, and I totally did not expect to see the baby so I was caught off guard when I got to see her! I felt bad that DH wasn't there for it (it was the first time she looked like a 'real' baby!)

HI and welcome.  I'm fairly new myself (i joined when pg with #1 and just started using it again since my work has unblocked "discussion boards").   Your response has totally excited me and I will ask DH to come with me JUST in case we do get to see LO.
