Healthy snack options for VD DC party

I've been looking for a healthy treat to take in for Lo's VD party next week. I'm sure everyone else will bring in cookies and goodies, so I was hoping to go a different route. I was thinking of doing something I saw in Pinterest. Using a heart shaped cookie cutter to cut out pieces of honey dew, watermelon, and cantaloupe and sliding them on a popsicle stick like a kabob. I'm a little worried I won't be able to find a cookie cutter that's small enough though. Anyone have other suggestions?

Re: Healthy snack options for VD DC party

  • I have snack that day for DS1's preschool class.  I think I'm going to take skewerss and thread strawberries and mozzerella or Monterary Jack cheese.  I thought about doing something with a cookie cutter, but I think it would be to time consuming for me! lol

maybe healthy muffins frosted in pink and red? carrot ginger ones?

I also found these on Amazon, the smallest one is 1.5 inches.

That's exactly what I'm looking for, but when I threw it in the cart to see if it would ship on time, this is what it said:

Estimated delivery: Estimated delivery: Mar. 122012 - Apr. 232012

I don't think I have that long to wait!!
