Ugh, that's the bill I just got from insurance.  I'm sooooo getting KU this year & taking advantage of my already paid deductible & out of pocket maximum!  Holy shizz balls!  Indifferent

    That sucks!  We have a high deductible plan as well (this year for our family plan it's a $5,000 deductible/$10,000 max out of pocket)- it's the one thing that makes me want to wait for another LO...

    This is exactly what I was going to say.  And I got into a bit of a "thing" with them about my $1600 anesthesia bill, so that dragged the ugly on even longer.

    Holy crap! How are people supposed to live? Explain this to me...you have to pay a certain deductible every year and your insurance doesn't pay anything until you've paid your deductible? And some people have a $10,000 deductible? Is that right? That WTF is the purpose of insurance? That's ridiculous! And here I am annoyed about my $15 co-pay at the Dr's office...sheesh, I should be thanking my lucky stars that's all it is!

    Yeah, there are pages & pages!  There are 4 ultrasounds on the same day for charges around $1000! I think that I may dispute some of the charges.  I had to do the for P's birth, and it took them around 7+ months to get it figured out. 

    And there are some EOBs from the end of December for some prenatal testing.  Blarg. 

    It's all good, but day-um.
