baby laughs with daddy, not much with me :(

I guess I'm just looking for a little support here. I try to do the exact same thing as my husband, but she won't laugh, just smile for the most part. Just when I think it might work, it doesn't. She has laughed for me before yes, but it's rare with me.

Awww sweetie it?s okay. Try different things and make it your own.

 

Some of the most bizarre things can make our LO laugh. For instance have you seen the The Simpsons movie where that old lady takes Homer in and does that chant kind of like this Howa Howa Howa lol I do this and go in a circle and he can't stop laughing. Oh the things we do to hear our LO's laugh.

I agree with the others.
DH can make her belly laugh hysterically just by saying "WHERE'S the BABY!!!?!" and if I do it, there isn't as big of a reaction.

But-- if I blow kisses on her belly, she can't stop laughing and smiling at me.  

Try new things and see what happens.

Same, but I also think it helps bond dh and ds since  I get to be  at home all day with ds.

Thanks everyone! I was feeling a bit down when I wrote this---I will gladly try your suggestions of doing my "own thing" to make my daughter laugh with me.
