Does anyone else feel judged

when you buy a pregnancy test? I picked one up today because I've been having crazy stuff going on and I felt like I got the side eye. 

However, I am in sweat pants, a pull over, and my hair is in pig tails. I already look young but today I probably look 12. I made sure to flash my wedding band when I swiped my card haha!

lol yes! Since I'm not on BC and my periods are not always regular I test every month.  so I usually just go to the $1store and buy a bunch of them at one time. I usually get the side eye and I don't always have my wedding ring on, the things they must think lol

I think i used to, but the last time I bought one, the lady went, "good luck!" So I guess I looked like I actually wanted to have one!

LOL Last time I bought them I was at the $1 store with my MIL back in Nov. (my period is very irregular) and bought like 10 if them. I think the woman on line in front of me said something like "Good luck" and something how nice it is when kids are close in age (little one was with us). I just said thanks and moved on. But honestly, in the past, I used to send DH...I'm sure he got the side eye. LMAO

I remember when I bought a test that I got my BFP with for DS the lady asked me if I wanted her to double bag it so it would be hidden better.

I think I look pretty young - so maybe that was it. And maybe because it was the only thing I was buying. But I just thought it was funny and told her now that one plastic bag was just fine.

I just bought a set of 20 tests from cheaptests.com (I think that was the site name) when we were TTC LO. Buying online = total privacy.

Plus they were way cheaper than even the dollar store.

Definitely.

When I first thought I was pg with DS, I stopped at CVS on my way home from my 3rd 12 hour night shift-I am sure I looked like h*ll.  I am an engineer, so of course scientific method has to be used-I purchased 2 tests from each of 4 different brands.  When I got to the counter the checkout woman said "honey-if you are that sick you know you are KU-don't waste the money!" lol....oh well...all 8 of them were positive BTW...as it turns out I was 12 weeks PG what I thought was my period was spotting the whole time and since I was working rotating shifts the nausea and tiredness never really rang a bell as "off".

Because I was totally clueless about being KU or because I felt the need to take 8 pg tests before accepting the fact that I was KU??

I've bought so many pregnancy tests over the past year it's not even funny. I take DS in with me now just so I can say "Oh God, I hope I don't have another one on the way."

With Griff I made my brothers gf buy the HPT lol.  With this one I went to get it myself but the cashiers were changing shifts and it took forever for the one girl to cash out and the new girl to cash in (or whatever) so there I was with my HPT on the counter and a long line up behind me.  Then, the cashier didn't even put the darn thing in a bag.  I walked out of the store with it in my hand.  Whatever.  I don't think anyone side eye'd me but my eyes were on the ground the whole time.  I should also mention I looke probably 13 years old, seriously.

I just thought it was funny today when I felt bad about it. When I got in the car I was thinking "seriously?! I'm a grown, married woman! Who cares?" lol But anytime I've ever bought one I always feel weird, especially if DH is with me haha

Yes, definitely! But I haven't bought a HPT since October of 2009 (glad I bought the 3-pack!), so not recently. BUT I was scared that I would run into someone that I knew, so I bought it at Walmart at like, 11:00 at night.
