So dude won a primary and a couple caucuses last night. (MO, MN, and CO).  wtf!  wtf? 

Do we want Santorum to be the R nominee because it ensures Obama wins 2012, or do we curl up in fetal position out of fear that he could be the R nominee and that he could actually be our President?

Yes. He's a nut and won't be actually elected. I'm really worried if Romney were to become president. He'd back corporations even more than they are now and we'd all really be screwed.

The only reason he won Colorado is because he is backed by Focus on the Family, and they have a very strong base here. If he wins, I might consider moving to Europe.

My sister & I met Rick Santorum last Friday night out at Lee's Summit, MO.
He is here because of believes & loves our great nation, just like all of
us.   

He is here to work w/ us & get our great nation back on track, back in the
green, growing stronger than ever, turning our economy around, helping the
US be energy dependent, help US businesses small & large create jobs, reduce
the deficit, repeal Obamacare (& not replace it w/ another healthcare
program either).  Reduce the government, help the schools, get the
government out of our everyday life, etc...



Rick believes in our 2nd amendment, our declaration of independence & what
our fore fathers believed in & risked their life for.

This is absolutely, 100% correct. But like Ella said, I do not want this guy gaining any clout. I don't want him given a platform to spew his dumbass views.

This man wants to make it illegal for me to abort a baby, even in the case of rape by my own father or other family member.

This is... just SICK.

I really don't think he's gaining clout.  The CO, MN and MI "elections" have no political clout and are the equivalent to a straw poll. 

But if, by some sick and twisted turn of events, Santorum gets the nom and actually wins, this country is irreparably broken and DH and I will be renouncing our citizenships and moving to The Netherlands.  We will be shunning the US of A.

Santorum scares me, but I do think he's un-electable.

If he becomes President, DH is still a British citizen, so it wouldn't take too much to move back to England/Scotland.
