How often does LO poop?

How often does your LO pool? DS has a full on poop or at least a trace of poop every time I change him (2-3 hrs). Is that ok?

Mine poops no more than twice a day.  Some days not at all (this happens about 2-3 days a week).  I am sure this is part of why she is so fussy and I intend to bring it up at her one month appt tomorrow.

Rarely do I change a diaper and it doesn't have poop.

pretty much every diaper has poop...we do give him probiotics for his gas and thought that might be why.  Some poops are looser than others but I'm told its all normal.

Totally normal, especially in the beginning.

Once they get a little older (1-2 months) they will start pooping less. DD went from pooping at every feeding to pooping about twice a day.

Mine is 3 weeks old & BF. He's started to slow down but for a while it was pretty much constantly! It's almost impossible to keep a clean diaper on him. I asked our pedi and he said it wasn't a problem. It should start tapering off soon though.

That was the case for us until about 8 weeks and then it changed to every other day or so (only 1 time per day).
