so torn, on what to do.....

I was due, last Saturday and still nothing. Seems as though my little guy is comfy where he is.  I had a doctor's apt, yesterday & she mentioned inducing me tomorrow night - since she's on call this Saturday. I'll be 41 weeks, Saturday - when we had the baby, if the induction goes well.  Part of me is excited, to finally meet my little man and another bigger part of me, is terrified!!  I'm already about 2 & a half cm dilated and just over 50% effaced.  I'm torn on whether or not to go through with the induction, tomorrow night or wait it out another week..... md won't let me go beyond 42 weeks - so if he doesn't come on his own - we'd induce next Thurs, since she's on call next Friday.  Thanks for letting me vent.

Your body seems to be pretty ready to give birth if you have any dilation and effacment. Seems favorable for induction.

Or you could wait and see but may not get your OB.
