How old was your LO when he/she started sleeping through the night? DD is 5.5 weeks old and goes to bed at 10:30, up around 2:30 and up again at 6:30....

I'm lucky, both of mine slept 8+ hours by 5 weeks.

DD1 didn't start STTN consistently until 15 months.

DD2 isn't quite there yet but is giving me a nice long 6-7 hour stretch every night.  Saturday night she was kind and went 8 hours!  YAY!  But she goes to bed between 7:30 and 8 so still wakes up between 1-4AM.  She started giving me 6 hours when I stopped waking her to feed at 4 weeks.

DD has been giving us 8 hours for a couple weeks but she goes down around 7 or 8 so shes up to nurse at 3 or 4

DD1 was 6 weeks.

DD2 was 7-8 months.

DD3 has been doing a 7-8 hour stretch since 2 weeks old.

It seems like we are very lucky because our LO was sleeping 6 hours at 6 weeks, 8 hours at 8 weeks and now 10 hours at 10 weeks. He goes to bed at 8:00pm and sleeps until 6am. Then he typically goes back to sleep within an 1.5 hours for at least another hours or so. My best friends baby was sleeping 12 hours at around 15 weeks. That is what we are hoping for too. We follow the eat, play, sleep routine and I completely swear by it, we also started a bedtime routine at about 4 weeks including a warm bath every night, we alway put him down while he is tired, but not completely sleeping (I found if we rocked him completely a sleep, he will wake up when I was putting him down) and my final secret is topping off his tummy right before bed (even if he eat an hour before I will give him a little more). Not sure, if we just have a good baby or the routines work, but either way, I am the most rested mommy I know.

#1 he was 1 year old slept 12 hours at night

#2 he is 3.5 and still does not usually sleep throught the night

#3 he was at 5 months sleeping all night by 9 months every night for 12 hours

#4 she is 2.5 months old and will sleep in 6 hour stretches sometimes....she is by far my best sleeper and I am thankful

Ha, ds will be 3 years this month and still doesn't.  In fact, dd sleeps better than he does.  She's technically sttn multiple times by medical standards.  She goes to bed around 10 and she's usually up to eat around 3:30, 7, and 8:30-9ish for the day.

Yep. Though many do it a lot sooner, what you're describing sounds totally more than normal for that age.

9 weeks she was sleeping about 8 hours, 12 weeks she was sleeping 11-12 hours, now she averages 12 hours.

My older DS didnt STTN until 10 months old.

My DD does a nice 7-8 hour stretch but she goes to bed at 7pm, so she wakes up at 2:30ish to eat and then again at 5ish and is up about 7:30am for the day. So even though I think that is technically STTN its not MY night.

My first began doing 6pm-midnight, feed, 1-6am at four months, which was totally do-able for me (6 + 6!).  Then was sleeping 6:30-6:30 at six months (heaven!).  

My second is only 3+ wks old and the longest he's gone is 4 hours ( three times so far, but who's counting.,).
