First, this will be the easiest flight you ever take with a baby. They are so much more self contained at this age. I've flown with my DD1 at 10 weeks, 6 months, 9 months, 15 months and 18 months. I can only say that it gets MUCH harder once they're mobile.
Plan to gate check your stroller. It's nice to have it right when you get off the plane.
Have a plan before you get to security. Know exactly what needs to come out of your diaper bag and carry-ons and have it ready to go. When I fly with my kids, my carry on is the diaper bag with my wallet inside and maybe a book to read. Have DH take care of the stroller while you take care of you and baby. Wear easy slip on shoes.
I assume you're taking DD as a lap child, if you can, use a sling or moby to help hold DD while you're in flight. Saves your arms a bit. If you're getting DD a seat, use an FAA approved rear-facing seat.
Feed (if you can and DD is willing) during take off and landing.
If you can fly around DD's nap schedule that will help, but most likely she'll sleep snuggled with you on the plane.
DON'T try and change DD's diaper in the lavatory on the plane. Trust me, it's awful. Using a changing pad and just do it in the aisle. It's quick and will give you the most room.
I'd take an aisle seat so that you can walk with DD if she fusses. Also easier to get in /out of if you need to change diapers, etc. Also, if you're BFing, DD's feet will have room in the aisle or will only poke DH instead of a random stranger.
Check the car seat at baggage claim. You can gate check it, but unless you've got an infant carrier that goes into a stroller combo it's just not worth the hassel.
These are awesome tips! I am breastfeeding LO but may bring a bottle of pumped milk in case that is easier on the plane. I plan on carrying/holding her in the ring sling as she we did the lap seat thing. Thanks so much!

Hope this helps!
