New job!

Nothing like turning in your resignation and being told to hit the road at the end of the day.  At a church preschool.    I think I posted for advice a couple of weeks ago about a job change.  Well, I ended up taking the new job, and went in to tell my director this morning.  She told me today was my last day.  I felt a little sad about that, especially since I have done a great job there and was as nice as possible about telling her that I have another opportunity.  But on the plus side, I get the rest of this week with LO!  Yay!  Not to mention, I will get Tu/Th mornings and all day Fridays with her.    I am so excited about starting this new job!  I am working for a longtime friend who is a chiropractor, as the office manager.  Nice boss, nice working environment, more time with LO, more money, and getting out of my comfy zone a bit!

:::highfive!::: Way to go! Sucky though that the church would do that to you. For the record, I'm a little jealous! I've been looking for a new job since before I got my BFP! 2 1/2 years later, and I'm still in the same position, with the same crap hours, and the same crap pay. *sigh* At least I'm employed, so I've got that going for me.

Super excited for you to have more time with your DD! I hope I can be as lucky as you very soon!
