DS has been walking for about 6 weeks now, and I'm wondering if we need different shoes for him. He current has 3 pairs: mock-Robeez (from Shoezoo on eBay), Pedipeds (their new spring style of the Originals, with the extra gripper bottom--we were selected to be testers), and a pair of hard-bottomed Arizona slip-ons that he HATES. DH asked me if we should be getting more solid-soled shoes for him. I remember soft soles being better to a certain point, but didn't know that with DD. She was in hard-bottom Stride Rite "first walkers" at 10 months.
What sort of shoes do you put on your LO's feet?
Re: What shoes does your LO wear?
Stride rite early walkers for when we're out and about but Robeez for home and daycare.
P wears pink chucks.

Nate had a Target brand of Robeez up until Saturday, when I went to Stride Rite and bought him his first pair of "real" shoes.
G has been walking for 4 months now so about a month ago we decided to move him up from Stride Rite early walkers to their off and running style. He also wears See Kai Run's toddler shoes.
Ive heard that the softer and more flexible shoes are the better it is. I kind of regret moving G to the harder sole shoes, but we did it on the advice of the Stride Rite person. At least he doesn't wear them too much.
DD started taking steps but is not fully walking yet. She has these from striderite:
Love them! E has the Ernie version of these shoes.
They posted on their FB page a few months ago that they were looking for testers and they had a survey to take. I guess I answered right LOL. It was pretty cool. We got free shoes out of the deal but I had to write a review. They gave $200 in shoes to the best reviewer and then they gave a free pair of shoes (plus the ones they reviewed) to 5 runners up. We didn't get chosen but we still got free shoes out of the deal! The new bottoms on the Original are nicer, but DS still slips in them on our tile floors.
