Anyone ever had this?

We got some other news with our ultrasound that wasn't great but doesn't seem like a huge worry so I would like to know if any of the rest of you have ever experienced it. They told us that our little boy has Choroid Plexus Cysts on his brain. They gave me a print out and it seems the chances are low but it is a soft marker of Trisomy 18 and sometimes downs but usually turn out to be nothing as far as I can tell. There are 0 other signs of them. I did decide today to opt in for a quad screening now and I am having another ultrasound in a month to see if they are still there.

I am just looking for some reassurance and thoughts and prayers. If any of you have personal experiences I would love to hear them. Thanks a bunch ladies sometimes I don't know what I would do with out a great group of women! (Because lets face it sometimes men don't understand or worry or stress in another way then us)

 BTW we are Team Blue!

I think it's really early to know for sure...when did they say they were going to give you another ultrasound?

I will have another ultrasound in a month before my next appointment.

I see more & more posts on this same subject. It seems to me that thse are more common that not anymore.  Look a day or two back and you'll see a posting on this topic.  There was also one from last week. GL - try not to worry (i know that's hard) but if nothing else is pointing to a chromosom prob, there probably isn't one!

These are fairly common, and the majority of the time will clear up on their own. If you had no other markers for either T18 or Downs, then I would try not to worry (I know easier said than done). A woman I know just had a follow-up U/S for the same thing, and hers had completely cleared up. T&Ps you get the same result. If you want more reassurance, just search the boards on here and you will find a lot of posts about choroid plexus cysts.
