For those of you who read my Monday Morning B*tchfest post, you know about the gross issues I had to deal with yesterday. Well, it gets better - I just got the most random info from my husband. He was using the upstairs guest bathroom, sitting there doing his business. He saw some small white chunks on the ground by the toilet and thought "huh, what is this. Maybe soap?", so he picked one up and smelled it. Nope, definitely not soap. Chunks of cocaine were just chillin on the floor by the toilet. WTF?! Fine, if you want to do that, go ahead, that is your decision. Just be smart about it, at least, and don't leave your sh*t behind on our floor. What morons. Were they so f'ed up the whole weekend that they didn't even realize that quite a bit of their blow was missing?! Must have been some weekend.
So I called Air BnB, the website the house is listed on (it is like VRBO), and was like "Ummmmm, so, I have kind of a weird question. I'm not really sure how to deal with finding cocaine on our bathroom floor after renters left". The girl on the phone and I both couldn't help but laugh about it. OMG, seriously though, how do you handle this? Do I email the renter and say "Soooo, we don't really appreciate finding blow on our bathroom floor, FYI". So weird.
ETA: No, DH and I do not do cocaine. I have a response in the thread about how he knew what it was - unfortunately he had a very close friend that struggled with drug use, and my husband was the one who was trying to help him get through it. Grossly, he was around it at times and therefore unfortunately knows more about what it looks like and smells like than he'd like.
And, my reaction to this situation involves me laughing b/c I'm completely in disbelief that this happened. I'm amazed at the level of stupidity some people show, and general lack of common sense.
Re: OMG, my weekend rental saga continues....
I know, that sounds bad. DH had a very good friend back in the day that had some issues with it, and he was a supportive friend that was trying to help him out and get him straightened out. So he was able to figure it out. Apparently it has a distinct smell, and when he smelled it, he knew right away what it was. Pretty gross.

That is just uber disgusting!! I would say this might qualify as the worst rental experience ever!
