NBR: thought I lost my kitty last night PIP

I was searching the entire house for her and could not find her anywhere.  This was very out of the ordinary for her.  I called and called her and went into every room in the house, twice.  Finally on my 2nd trip to my closet I hear loud purring, and discover this:                  

Please disregard my messy closet, I am not organizing it until I can wear my pre-pg clothing.   It was just too cute and funny that I had to take a pic.  She's never done that before.

I put an old PIP so you can see what our kitties did to us the first weekend we brought them home back in June.  We REALLY thought we lost them and they were TINY then.  This pic doesn't even show how bad it was.  Picture the towels piled up even higher, and the kitties squeezed in up top.  Now they have a special drawer in the kitchen they love to climb in from the back and curl up on the wicker placemats.  It took us a few weeks to figure that one out, till we got a clue when we heard pots & pans banging around.I guess they love their safe, compact spaces!  Glad you found your kitty.

that is SO cute.  we have to check our closet before leaving the house each morning because our Franken-kitty is in heaven snuggled up in there.  He has spent the whole work day in there before ....

My cats have done this too!  Right after we moved into our new apartment, I looked all over for one of them and could not find him.  I even made DH go outside and look for him in case he got out when we were moving things in.  After about an hour, DH went into the bedroom and looked and he was laying in a basket of clothes, happy as can be.  I could not believe he didn't even come when we called for him over an over!!

Cute! My cat used to open the kitchen cabinet door and sneak in to sleep with the pots and pans.  It was kinda cute but annoying as I then had to wash the dishes before and after use.  Sadly I don't have the cat anymore (my Ex does) but still have the habit of washing the pots and pans out of the cabinet!

Doesnt that annoy you when you call your kitty and call your kitty and they don't come out or don't meow!

 My cat is notorious for playing hiding n seek with me !
