3rd Trimester

So close...yet so far!

I know I don't have that far to go but it feels so far away. My body is so tired and sore. Sleeping is impossible and functioning at work is a joke. I just can't wait to hold my LO in my hands and begin this new journey. You know when you are in your senior year of High School and you get senioritis. Well I think I have pregnantitis. How is everyone else feeling today and or coping with prenatitis???

  • I feel completely the same way!!  I got my BFP at 5 wks so I feel like this pg is taking FOREVER!  I've luckily (knock on wood) had a pretty good pg so far, but I'm finding that I already can't concentrate at work (as you can already see b/c I'm bumping instead of working) and every morning and every night I walk into the nursery and imagine what's to come!!  But I in no way want her to come early!  I am just so excited to meet her!

  • I know the feeling.  I'm 31 weeks pregnant with TWINS!!!  My belly was measuring at 38 weeks at my appointment last Wednesday and has grown since then.  I only imagine that I'll be measuring at like 45 weeks when I deliver at 37 weeks...however my stomach was NEVER as big as it is today when I was 40 weeks with DS or DD.

Good luck to everyone.  WE CAN DO THIS!!!!

  • I feel the same way!! I can't help but think "I can't wait for this to be over and to have him in my arms" but I should be thankful that he's still baking and for the little bit of rest and freedom I have left. Last night I reminded myself that I will probably wish he was still inside me at some point in time during the first few weeks lol!

  • I too can't wait to see my little man and hold and kiss him... I am getting to the point where I am uncomfortable no matter what, can't sleep, and am just ornery. I do love having him safe inside and would LOVE to keep him that way until he's fully baked, but I don't want to be in constant pain or get any bigger (starting to feel like a beached whale!). I have a love/hate relationship with pregnancy right now.
  • I thought I felt crappy at 32 weeks too, but just when you think you can't ache any more or sleep any more uncomfortably, you will. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but now that baby has packed on the fat in the last few weeks, even walking a few metres is a challenge. One good thing is, since baby has dropped (and now I'm on mat. leave) I have been sleeping longer through the night. Good luck!

  • I have been SO uncomfortable for weeks now! Before I became pregnant I was only 103lbs so now that I'm 134lbs it's KILLING my back. I can't sleep because she has dropped so low that every position hurts and standing up is just as bad because of my back! I'm at the point where I'm ready to rip this baby out myself!! Only 3 weeks yet but it feels like forever.

Hang in there ladies we are almost done!
