I'm looking for something durable, I don't want DD to use our dishes because I know she will break them. All I've seen are plastic kids dishes, and I don't want those either.
I bought some stainless steel camping plates a few years ago for my son, and they are great - dishwasher safe, and they have an edge around them, which is actually really helpful when you're a little kid:
we, too, use melamine dishes, I buy them from the disney store; they are fun shaped and have pictures of MM, Cars, toy story... they also sell matching silverware

They have it on Amazon as well.
