Sensitive formula for normal baby...okay?

Hi all,

I have some samples of sensitive formula and anti-gas formula that I would like to use for my LO. He has no signs of intolerance to the normal formula at this point. Is it ok to still feed him the stuff for sensitive tummies? Is there a huge difference?

  • My friend said she knows someone who used it and their baby actually became more fussy. IDK. I think it is different for everyone and you could try it out and see how your baby responds. If you are really concerned I would ask your pediatrician though. I also have 2 cans of Similac sensitive that I got in the mail and I have been debating whether to use them or not.

  • What about mixing them with the regular stuff gradually? That way you're still using it but he's not get a whole bottle at once. I'd think he'd be less likely to react to it one way or another that way.

  • I used it in the beginning for my LO and didn't have any problems.  Then I read the ingredients label and saw that high fructose corn syrup was the first ingredient.  Didn't want to feed that to LO at this young of an age so I threw it out.  But as long as you are ok with the ingredients, I think it is probably fine.
