Trying to Get Pregnant

You know you're TTC when....

I know these are posted a lot, but I just had to share.

I'm stuck working all weekend and normally when I come home from work I boil some water and have my cup of green tea for the day. Today, since it's a Saturday, I decided I wanted a glass of wine instead. I'm on CD11 though, so I needed to get that green tea in there. My solution? Double fisting a glass of wine and a mug of green tea. DH looked at me like I was nuts, but I needed that green tea!

  • - you've stuffed a pillow under your belly just to see what you'd look like pregnant

    - you know exactly where everything will go in the baby's nursery. You've got it all laid out in your head.

    - you download free iphone pregnancy tracker apps and change the ovulation date every month just to pregnant like you're pregnant that month

    - the first words to you husband in the morning are now "pass me my thermometer" Not, "good morning".

    - You drink green tea even though you think it tastes nasty

    - You get excited about every ache, pain and cramp thinking it's ovulation pain, even though it's probably just gas

    - You cry at those bloody Johnson & Johnson commercials... "having a baby changes everything."

  • ....you go to the bathroom and yell out to YH "No bleeding yet!" and get a huge smile on your face.
  • Using OPKs at work.  More specifically, taking your cell to the bathroom so you can time the test. Choosing a more out of the way bathroom so people don't wonder why you're in there so long.  Trying to go after the cleaning guy has made his rounds so you don't have feel pressured to leave the bathroom early before the test is done because you know he's waiting for you to come out.
