This seems like a popular post. I am currently interviewing. I know area greatly influences price. If you dont mine sharing how much you pay or have paid for weekly infant, the amount of hours and location / area?

 Also, any ways you were able to negotiate a better rate? I read about paying in advance and one lady I spoke with really liked that idea. If I paid her upfront each month she would drop the price from 125 a week down to 450 for 4 weeks. I live in the Fredericktown / Marengo area which is in Knox/ Morrow county about 40-45 minutes north of columbus.

125 a week sounds very reasonable to me especially for a newborn. For two kids, I got really lucky with my sitter because she only charges me 35 dollars a day = 175 a week. I pay her up front, and she claims all income and  is tax deductible. We live in the Pickerington area.

thanks! I think 125 is pretty good too. Daycare is rough!
