Ok, Im no sports fanatic but this is the first time I have not even really realized the world series was going on and now its over.  Wow.  I usually hear about it, see it on tv, or watch the last game.  Nope, missed it completely.   (did watch most of the olympics though)

Me neither and I love baseball. I didn't even know what teams were playing until the posts below. I haven't been keeping up with football either - I feel so out of touch.

I had a vague idea, but had no idea that it was near the end!

I knew who was playing, but didn't know they were so close to the last game.  I knew it was 3-1 but I guess I got confused when they had the rain delayed game...replay or whatever.  Our team was out of the running months and months ago...Detroit Tigers...I loose interest after that.  Same with the Lions (losers).  I dont' get into prof. football much at all.  I like to watch college though.
