Hi ladies,
I exclusively pump and so I have quite a supply going in my fridge. I have a number of bottles in my freezer full of BM that I would like to now put in the bags. Can I unfreeze this milk and then refreeze it again in the bags? How do you go about using your supply of milk? Do you freeze whatever you pump for the day and then only give frozen milk? I am unsure how to go about doing this so that it makes the most sense.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Re: BFing moms, talk to me about freezing supply
Fresh is better than frozen so I would only serve fresh unless I need to (I EP for DS also - now I'm serving pumped milk during the day and nursing overnight for DD).
You can defrost and then refreeze. If you defrost it you have 24 hours to serve it or else its no good. Freeze in bags from now on.... you can serve one or two bottles of frozen a day until you get rid of the bottles.

This. You need to invest in the BM storage bag and freeze in those.
