Reasonable beach getaway recs? NBR

I live in the midwest and we'd like to take a spur-of-the-moment beach getaway with out 14month old.  Any reasonably priced recomendations in your area?  We usually travel to Captiva Island once or twice a year, but we're looking to head somewhere a little less expensive this time!

    It's expensive in our areas right now.  South Florida is tough around this time, because this is our "season".  Depends on what you think is expensive I guess, but to find something less than $150 a night that is decent will probably be hard to find.  I just tried for my inlaws and even places that are typically $100 a night are more like $200 a night.  Plus, winter break is happening up north soon..so more people come down here making the hotel prices go up.

    Naples is a nice beach, similar to Captiva.  Lots of things to do/shop/dine. The Naples Grande is a very luxe hotel and very reasonably priced.
