Can I use cocoa butter for lotion or skin oil after bath?

I have Johnson and Johnson baby lotion and the night time lavender..but sometimes I feel like the smell is overload.

Can I use a St. Ives cocoa butter lotion since baby has dry skin?

I also have this all natural oil I got at Whole Foods for stretch marks..very softening..

hmm...

  • I thought of something!  I have a lot of my Mothers Special Blend all natural skin oil (used so I got no stretch marks)

Can I put some of this on baby instead of baby oil?

  • I just took DS to the pedi today due to a rash.  She told me that J&J products were very drying and to use Dove bar soap to wash and thn use a lotion with cocoa buuter or shea butter.  Not sure about using the skin oil,

We just use regular J&J baby all over bath wash or whatever. It does dry him out a lot, but right after, we use J&J cocoa & shea butter baby lotion and it's amazing! I definitely recomend it.
