We just had DS's senior photos done by Patrick this afternoon.  He was GREAT!  DS hates getting pictures taken, but Patrick got him to relax and I know I am going to have a heck of a time picking out which poses to buy.  I told him that I heard about him from you.  He loved that you raved about his work.

I am thinking of having him do some photos of Brenna once she is able to sit up.  She wasn't with us during the shoot today. I mentioned it to him, but kind of got the idea that he isn't all into doing baby photos. Is he getting away from photographing babies and kids?  Just wondering if you got that vibe from him?  He was wonderful with DS.  I cannot wait to see the photos.

Oh I am so glad that you liked him!  The awesome thing about Patrick is that you get all the prints so you don't have to choose - unless you are talking about picking one for the yearbook. 

 I didn't get the feeling at all that he didn't like photographing babies.  He is great with Evan and he came to my house last minute for his bday pics and worked  with about 15 kids under the age of 5.  In fact he had way more patience then I did and he loved getting pics of the dogs as well. 

Thanks for mentioning my name - I don't get any kick backs I just like him to know how much I liked his work and referring people to him tells him how much I like him.

He did take to our dog while he was at our house.  I was going to ask if he did Evan's pics in the studio or at your home.  I remember they were really really good.  I will call him when Brenna is sitting on her own.  I think he will be really good with her.

I was watching him while he did DS's photos, and his technique of seeking out natural backdrops and the perfect lighting was amazing.   He is definitely an artist.  There were other photographers working at the park today too, and they were dragging around artificial lighting and canopies etc.  I would not have been happy about that.
