All in all, a good day

LO was sent home from daycare with a fever, but is not so sick that he's uber fussy - so we had a blast today! Got some baking done during naptime, walked to the park together (it was crazily in the 50s) and hung out playing. I've been having major working mama guilt since my job is really demanding lately, so it was good to just get to be with him.

Also, DH got home early so I could go in for an hour or two this afternoon. I was stunned because DH, who is the naptime master, could not get him to sleep; apparently he cried almost the entire time I was gone. I mostly felt bad for him, but there was a teensy bit of me who was a teensy bit happy that the non-napper finally showed up to daddy.

OF course I'm feeling way behind from missing a day of work - but eh. I'm just gonna bask in the glow of a fun day for now.

Glad you enjoyed your lo today. Hope he is feeling better. I had a somewhat similar day and it was nice to enjoy lo and the spring like fresh air.
