How much would you pay?

So it looks like we found someone to transport my son to preschool....or at least I hope we did.  My sitter recommended her.  She's in her early 20's.  I have NO idea how much you would pay someone to do this.  It would be two days/week plus every other Friday.  It's about 2 1/2 hours each day.  And she lives pretty close to my sitter and the school.  Any idea?

Hmmm...like $20 per pickup? That seems like a lot maybe $15?

Maybe like Telyco said? How long would she actually be in the car each day? If it's no more than say 20 minutes, that should be more than enough each day.

Just thought of something- maybe you could figure out what the hourly rate is for your sitter, subtract that from what you pay her and give it to the driver instead? Then your weekly daycare budget wont move and it won't seem like a random number.

My sister pays a 20ish yr old she found on Craigslist to drive her 12 yr old to swimming practice everyday.  I'll have to ask her how much she pays.

That's a good thought except my sitter won't charge us any less for Justin not being there.  She considers a child full-time if they're there 4 or more hours per day, which he will be even going to preschool.  $15-20 seems reasonable.  I have to also consider the fact that this girl won't really be able to make any plans when she transports him.  She would only have a limited amount of time before having to pick him up again.
