xp from 3rd tri--lost mucus plug and crampy

I started losing my mucus plug today and now I'm feeling crampy, like menstrual cramps....anyone else experience this? I've never lost my mucus plug before labor like this...did you start labor soon?

I lost my MP a week and a half before I went into labor. No cramps until my water broke.

It was different every time for me. The first time, I lost my mp a week or so before labor and had quite a bit of crampiness all week. The second time, I lost it around 24 weeks, it regenerated, and I lost it again right before my induction. This time I lost it while I was in active labor.

I lost my MP in pieces starting around 34 weeks and I didn't go into labor until 39w6d.  I was also crampy off and on for that whole time.  Sorry!

I think I lost some of mine about 4-5 days before I went into labor. I had a "rough exam" done the next day and had contractions up until the real thing.

I lost my MP about 4 hours before I went into active labor...contractions started around midnight as HARD period type cramps that would come and go every few hours.  At 6am I lost my plug, at 7am I started bleeding, and at 9am I was in active labor.
