XP: Tanning lotions?

I like to use the Dove gradual tanning lotion since my legs are horribly pale and it is a scary site when I wear shorts at the gym. IDo any of you ladies know if there are recommendations against using such lotions while pregnant? Thanks!

Yes there are in my what to expect book. They are absorbed through the skin.

My OB and my nurse's line both said they are safe to use. I'm using them before I go to Mexico in a couple of weeks so I don't look like a ghost because everyone else gets to tan before we go.

Theyre totally safe, and so are well ventilated spray tans.

My doctor had no problem at all. I even brought her the self tanner I was using just to be certain.
