I've got an Awsome cousin!

Anyway I have been posting about how self-centered my mom can be.  She was really hurt when my stepmom and little sisters gave me my wedding shower, which was only 7 months ago.  Because of this when she asked me if she could host the baby shower I said yes.  My cousin was right there and asked how she could help as well.  So I asked her to help my mom out with the shower.

Today I just heard from my cousin asking me what I wanted for my shower.  Wow, what a concept.  I don't need a lot so I would prefer to just have family a VERY few close friends.  The other day  my mom was already telling me she had a few friends that she wanted to invite.  Most of these women I would never even want to spend time with outside my mom's house. 

 I am so greatful for my cousin acting as a go between and being willing to say "no" to my mom's overwhelming personality.
