I have a Moby wrap. It is awesome. It was a little hard to learn how to wrap it and figure out which wrap the baby likes best, but it didn't take long to figure it out.
I just ordered the Infantino Sync from Target. It's a new one they just came out with and it seems to me that it will be like a wrap but easier to figure out. I'll have to post when I've actually been able to use it but I did ask on here if anyone had used it and one mom posted that she absolutely loves hers so hopefully i will too.
I've also got a Moby wrap, and love it. The first couple of times I wanted to give up on it, but once you get the hang of its great, their instructions even say it may take afew tries.
My 7 week old falls asleep in it while I vaccuum, do laundry, ect. You can choose from lots of different holds too, so its very versital.
I use the Moby when I'm home with the little guy because it's like clothing - so soft and comfortable. It's also our warmest carrier so if I'm going to walk the dog when it's cold out I'll stick him in here. This is a great carrier for popping the little guy in and out of since you don't have to undo it.
DH uses the Pikkolo primarily. That's his favorite. It's a SSC that can be used from birth without any inserts. It's ergonomic and very comfortable. You can do front carries, forward facing carries, back carries, and hip carries which means it's very versatile.
When I'm going out I use a Babyhawk. It's a mei-tai. Kind of a cross between a wrap and a SSC. It has structure like the SSC, but ties instead of snaps/buckles which makes it very easy to put on. Also can be used from birth. Does both front carry and back carries. The weight is distributed between back/shoulders/hips and the padded straps are very comfortable. Personally I think this is our cutest carrier.
For warmer weather we have a Babybelle. This is very lightweight and our boy doesn't get overheated in it. You can do both forward facing and front carries with it. Both DH and I can wear it and he's a foot taller than I am.
I have ringsling from sleeping baby productions. It's awesome, especially after a couple of uses and you have it down how to use it. It's the sort of sling that you can use as long as you can caryy around your child, or double as a leash.
I know the Ergo Carriers are expensive, but it's seriously the best money i have ever spent. I was a little scared paying $100 for a carrier but i'm SO glad I did! My LO is 2.5 weeks but i've used it a lot already! Very nice for when she wants to be carried and you want to do some house cleaning!
Re: Recommend you baby carrier / sling please!!
