Dairy sensitivity and pork?

DD has a dairy sensitivity. I've cut all dairy out of my diet (had to do this with DS too) but am still noticing times when she gets congested, gassy, mucous-y poops, and really pukie (is that a word? :) It tends to coincide with times that I've eaten a lot of pork. I recently discovered that some pigs are fed cream. Is it possible that she's reacting to the dairy in their diets? Or am I reaching? Do they even have "dairy free" pigs? I'm not looking forward to losing bacon on top of the cheese... :( Thanks for any insight you can share...

Re: Dairy sensitivity and pork?

  • Both of my kids, and myself, cannot tolerate pork.  I'd cut it out of your diet for a few weeks, then try again.  If you see a reaction, you'll have your answer!

  • Yeah, I guess I'm going to have to whether it's the dairy or the pork itself... Guess I better learn how to love turkey bacon :-P Thanks
