A dumb insurance question...

I had my son on December 27th. I still haven't received the bills for that from my insurance company. However, my doctors office JUST decided to bill insurance for tests done in June (like the cystic fibrosis one and such).

If I'm being billed in 2012 for tests/proceedures done in 2011 and paying money out will that count towards my deductible for this year? Or is it just thrown out?

    It will go by 'date of service', not the date of submission, so no... if you were treated in 2011, it will not go towards your 2012 deductible.
