I know this has been posted a billion times, but humor me please.
We are having a bunch of people over on Sunday to watch the Patriots win the superbowl. I was thinking of doing heavy apps rather than an actual meal.
Ideas?
thanks.

These pizza bites are always a hit here, when I want to do heavy apps. Sweet and sour meatballs (grape jelly and chili sauce) in a crockpot are good, plus dips mentioned.

For our Christmas party, I had:
queso dip with chips; buffalo chicken dip with baguette; spinach and artichoke dip with pumpernickel -- all hot and in crock pots
vegetable beef soup and butternut squash (vegan) soup -- also in crock pots
potato chips
cheese plate with crackers
veggie tray with classic onion dip
cream cheese and pepper jelly
cookies, mini apple and peach pies, banana bread

We are having a party as well, here is what i'm having:
Potato skins, swedish meatballs, pulled pork nachos, mango/avocado salsa with chips, crab rangoons, wings (a few kinds), spinach/artichoke dip, and then some chicken fingers and pigs in a blanket (more for the kids). For dessert i'm just making some cookies and brownies since i'm thinking we'll be full from all the apps. Each person is bringing a fun beverage.
