Do any of your babies already sleep in their crib?? My son is almost 6 weeks ad I am going back to work in 2 weeks, I would really like to create some vague sense of normalcy in my household when I go back to work, I was thinking about starting next week and seeing how it goes...any advice?
Re: Sleeping in their crib...how soon is too soon
Fastest year of my life.
LCT - 5.15.14 ~ 9lbs, 22.5 inches
This exactly.
Ours too!
Not sure what the "experts" say, but we used the bassinet part of the pnp up until 2 nights ago (25 days old) and decided to try his crib for a variety of reasons. The least of which not being that I am the only one who needs to get up with him during the night and he can be a noisy sleeper. I am also pretty sure that the mattress in the crib is a lot better for him than the ones in the travel yard. Luckily, he took to it right away and has had the best 2 nights sleep since we first brought him home as a newborn.
Also, we didn't just throw him in there cold turkey - we let him try it out with no pressure to sleep and made it a really positive, happy experience and took him out before he had a chance to get fussy or bored. When he did go down for a nap, there was no fussing so we decided to try the night and it happened to work out for us.
Good luck!
