Why I haven't eaten my young

Ben:  "Mama's got a burn."
Me:  "Yep, can you kiss it?" 
He does. 
Me:  "Aw, thank you, I love your kisses."
Ben:  "I love kisses too."
And I melt.  I'm such a sucker.

    Awww! There's a reason God made toddlers so darn cute. So they'd survive. :)

    I still remember when DS was a few weeks old, and we went to see an LC about his lack of a good latch.  She said, "Babies know that they are food.  They look and act cute so that you will protect them from things like eagles that want to eat them."  That always stuck with me, especially when he makes me mad but then just looks so darn cute!
