High chair?

I'd like to be able to eat dinner at our dining room table again (we've been eating on our couch with LO in his swing).

Can high chairs with reclines can be used with infants? The FP space saver looks like it might recline far enough and has a 5 point harness. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Re: High chair?

  • Lurker butting in here. :-) We used the FP Space Saver and loved it! It reclined far enough when he was itty bitty. I loved not having a seperate high chair taking up space in our kitchen, although you do lose the use of one of your dining room chairs.

  • Do you have a bouncer?  We've been putting DD in that on the floor between us when we eat dinner.

  • We also use the space saver with our little guy. He loves it. The two of us have breakfast and lunch together every day. (he's asleep before we have dinner)

This! We didn't put our little guy in it until he was 8ish weeks old, but only because it didn't occur to me he might be able to use it sooner.

Its been great to eat at the table as a family!

  • Thanks everyone. We don't have a bouncer and would like to avoid getting extra baby stuff that we don't need (LO is happy in his swing). I think the FP space saver will be nice for us since we'll be able to use it for a long time.
