The good and the bad about AF's arrival!

Hey ladies- so I am thrilled to finally end my 49 day cycle one way or another! But unfortunately it was with AF and not a BFP:( Well I am glad to move on to the next month but I have a concern. I think that I ovulated on CD 39 but FF says 41. Guess this is not a huge deal but if I did really O on 41 then my LP was only 8 days. This is bad right? From stalking I have gathered that it needs to be etween 10-16 days right? What potential problems can a short LP like this cause? And are there any ways to treat it? Thanks for all the advice in advance.

    It hasnt been that long- October (going on 4 months). I had the merena for about 2 years. Does a short LP have to do with coming off BC as well? I knew my cycles could be irregular.
