I like this name but I actually prefer it for a girl, seems feminine to me. I don't like the Devyn or Devin spellings though. I recently saw it spelled Devon. Is this the girl spelling? Do you like this name for a girl?
I actually know a woman named Devin, spelled with an i. I think it's cute. I guess I never knew a boy named Devin, so I didn't even realize that it was a "boy" name.
I worked with a female Devan (either a or o, can't remember). She was the ultimate hard worker and knew her sh*t. The name suited her well, and I like it.

My 26-year-old male cousin is named Devon, so I have a hard time seeing this as a girl's name. That may just be me though. I've never met a female Devon/Devin.
I have a friend named Devon, and she's the only person I know with the name. So it's always been a female name to me, though not particularly feminine. If you were going to use it, I prefer Devon to Devin, because like a PP said, with the "i" I just see "Devil."

From my experience, it's Devon for a girl and Devin for a boy.

Ugh. Devin/Devon is a boys name, no matter how you spell it.
But please, if you use it anyway, don't shove a Y in there.
I just want to give you a world as beautiful as you are to me.
IMO Devin/Devon/Devyn is trailer park. Sorry. I don't like it for either a boy of girl, but I've heard it on both.
Devin is Irish and means descendent of Dark-Haired one.

Devon is English. The meaning is from the tribe of Dumnonii. It is an English County name.

My flower girl was named Devon. She was a cutie.
Devin is often used on a girl, but I still see it as a boys name mostly. I can see it on a girl no problem though.
