Ugh really!? (NTTGPR)

So tonight is my first night back to work in almost 2 weeks and dh comes in while I am trying to sleep to tell me the basement drain is backed up!

The plumber is on their way here...there goes 200 bucks!

Sorry. I know what that is like. Our basement just flooded because there is something wrong with the pump. Hope you have a good first day back!

ugh, I'm so sorry. I know how you feel....We live in an old house with old pipes. About once a month the sewage backs up and sewage(ew, gross!) comes up in to our shower and tub in the house. DH has to go outside and snake the pipes to relieve the problem. This happens about every single holiday and every time we are trying to go on vacation without fail...

Ugh.  Old houses with old pipes.  Story of my life.  I think I've spent more on plumbers than on all other maintenance on my house combined.  ::sigh::
