Juliet + 3 syllable LN?

DH and I both really like the name Juliet for a girl, but I'm worried that it won't flow well with our last name, which is also 3 syllables and a bit difficult to pronounce (think Kaczmarek).  We're also undecided about a middle name.  What do you ladies think?  Too much of a mouthful? Any MN suggestions?

Re: Juliet + 3 syllable LN?

  • i don't think it's too  much as long as you go with a one syllable mn like mae, or kate, or lyne, etc

  • I like it because it's easy to pronounce and familiar to everyone - which will be great considering your last name is tricky.

  • I don't have middle name suggestions, but just wanted to remind you that your baby will go by Juliet (Kaczmarek) most of the time.  What do you think?

  • If Juliet Capulet can pull it off, then so can Juliet Kaczmarek. I think it sounds great. I prefer a balance of syllables.

  • I think it's fine but like other people said... just a one syllable MN
  • My first name is Joy with a three syllable last name and I always felt like the weight of my last name was too much for my three letter first name. That said I didn't take MH's last name Bush because I didn't want one syllable for first and last names.

I love pp's suggestion of Mae as a middle name.

  • Juliet is great, I wouldn't worry too much about the LN. It won't be that LN forever.

  • I think long names can be very pretty, but I agree with PPs that you should use a shorter middle name.  Ann, Grace, Kate, Brooke, Paige, Beth,
