Pregnant moms/moms who already have 2U2

I'm making a list of things I need double of.  Is there anything I missed?  Or any tips/tricks/advice you can give so I don't have to spend the cash?

-double stroller

-carseat

-high chair (we have a pub style dining table and I don't feel comfortable letting Griff use those chairs yet)

-bed or crib (I've talked about this before here but I plan on putting LO#2 into their crib from the beginning.  sooo...this really depends on where Griff is at with his sleeping situation)

I would hold off on getting another high chair. My two are 14 months apart and I thought I needed to buy another high chair, but DS1 transitioned easily into a booster seat by the time his brother came along.

Some things I found helpful to have extra of:

- another monitor (or another camera - for video monitors)

-another changing pad (if LO2 is going to have their own room)

-obviously a double stroller and another car seat

-I bought more hooded towels and washcloths (we do nightly baths and go through 10-14 towels a week)

-I also bought more mattress pads and sheets

-I would recommend signing up for amazon prime and amazon mom. You get discounts on diapers, wipes, etc. It is way cheaper than anywhere else I have looked.

In addition to the stuff others have mentioned:

new bottle nipples & pacifiers

humidifier

bath stuff

teething toys

Decor for new room (we are doing wall decals but we're team green so we'll wait until baby gets here to order them)

Chair of some kind for J's room so we can move the glider to the new nursery

We are not getting another car seat - #2 will use J's old infant seat at first.  When we need to switch to convertible we each have one in our cars now so we will probably just use both of those in 1 car (we don't want to end up with 4 convertible seats - 2 in each car)

We are getting another crib & mattress b/c J will either stay in his or we will convert it to a toddler bed (we already have the rail for it)

Oh, and we are waiting on the double stroller, we are going to try to babywear #2 for this summer/fall, then we won't use a stroller much in the winter, then maybe we can just get a wagon next summer. 

(Unless I find a good deal on a Bumbleride Indie Twin, which is my secret crush double stroller)

ETA - I am also getting all new pump parts; flanges, membranes, tubing, etc

I've been thinking about this too.  DS uses a booster seat when we visit people, and it's been great.  Remember, new baby won't need the high chair until solids and that's not until 4-6 months old.  New baby will use the high chair then and DS will use the booster.

DS is in a convertible seat now, so baby will use our infant seat.  If you don't have a convertible, I'd get that now because you will need one soon anyway.  Then you can use the infant seat for new baby.

The double stroller thing is kinda bumming me out.   I LOVE our stroller (and it was pretty expensive) so I wish we could use it for baby #2.  We also just bought a Citi Mini for travel and the thing has been barely used.  Wish we didn't have to add another stroller to the mix. 

The crib thing is also stressing me out.  DS will be 2 years old by the time baby is ready to move out of the bassinet into a crib.  I don't think DS will be ready for a toddler bed at 2...but maybe he will.  That would be ideal because I reallllly don't want to buy another crib!

I have to be honest, other than diapers, I'm hoping to re-use as much of DS' stuff as I can.  To the point that I'm hoping for another boy!

Here is what we are getting:

-Double stroller (I keep waiting on a good deal for the City MIni double)

-booster seat

-Hoping to get an Ergo carrier b/c I plan to wear this new baby more

We are holding off on a new crib b/c this new LO will be in our room until he is sleeping through the night and then I will move him into DS#1 room.  We only have a 2 bedroom so they will be sharing.  Once he is ready to be moved we will see if we need a new crib or if we can transition DS#1 into a big boy bed.

Everything else we plan on reusing of DS's.  We already have 2 convertible car seats, 1 in my car and 1 in DH's car.  We will just put both in my car.
