Think I tried to find one too soon, and now I'm too late. I have no idea, but I can't find a scarf for DS. I don't want anything fancy, a piece of fleece would be fine. I would make one but I am not crafty. On line all I see are one's for $50-60, which is ::coo-coo coo-coo::
Re: does your child have a scarf? why can't I find one?
The same thing crossed my mind. I was looking for one, when I couldn't find one I was like, "oh crap...Am I looking for something that is a hazard = they don't sell for children" Didn't want to ask the lady at target for fear they would call CPS.
...then I thought, dude, how is he gonna play in the snow with no scarf? Come on.
Ok, I'm not crafty but I did make one of those fleece blankets. What is a cowl scarf? Is there a how to video to watch or super easy directions I can follow.
I mean, super easy. Written in crayon.
DD started getting really interested in my scarves, so my mom knit one for her. To be honest, it's kind of a PITA. Her snow suit already zips right up to her neck, so any extra fabric from the scarf is too bulky. She also doesn't love the feeling of something wrapped around her neck.
She mostly just drapes it over her shoulders and wears it around the house now.

The Nest/Bump sucks and won't let me change my location. I'm in Arkansas, not Florida.
My LO has a version of scarves like this: https://www.knitsandbitsbylinda.com/keyhole-scarf-boa.html

I have a blog and it isn't about babies or motherhood or my life. It's just about eating, drinking, and traveling: Explore and Eat
is that why most shoes are velcro and not shoe laces?

A gaiter? Never even heard of it! So sad...That would be totally perfect! Thanks for this anyway, I will try to google Gaiter and see what I can find.
I'm not too worried about safety, I just him to be extra bundled when he's making snowmen with daddy or sledding (scarf not exposed, just keeping chest/throat warm)
I think I saw some at Children's Place not too long ago.
I knit a 'Mittenscarf' for my daughter a few years ago. She still uses it.

yes, you sure would assume if they had them for girls they would have them for boys... After looking online, I'm not so sure. Jack & Jane or whatever that store is had like 10 on sale for girls, 0 for boys.
