2 month shots side effects

Hi All. I'm a lurker coming out of hiding. Hope everyone is doing well. My LO had his 2 month shots today. He has been a bit cranky and sleepy....both side effects that I expected. One thing I noticed that I didn't expect is he has had a ton of spit bubbles and is drooly. I have never heard of this as being a side effect (but then again I'm a FTM so what do I know lol) Is this considered normal? TIA

I'm pretty sure that's not a side effect of the shots but is a result of his saliva glands maturing. My LO hasn't had his shots yet (he will on Monday) but has been drooling more and blowing spit bubbles for a couple of days.

DD hasn't had her shots yet and she is doing the same thing. She was sitting in her bouncer yesterday and was blowing bubbles like crazy and when I picked her up her shirt was soaked from drooling in herself. I don't think it's a side edfect of the shots, just maturing of the saliva glands like PP said.

Thanks ladies! I know I must sound crazy now lol. Aside from him being irratable, he seems fine and is eating great so I'm guessing it was just a coincidence that he started doing it and he had his shots.

I thought he same thing! LO was drooling up a storm after his shots. Must be that the glands mature right at 2 months?

My DS just had his today as well and he's being doing that for the last couple of days.  I asked the pedi about it and she said it was do to them maturing, but also do to them learning to make different sounds and noises etc.
